Look at today's reports so far. Hopefully everyone in these areas stays safe tonight. Already 47 tornados have been reported, and probably more to come tonight.

If this pattern continues whre jet stream disturbances eject east of the rockies into the central US and midwest every other day, we'll play catch up with tornadoes alright. After a quiet start to the year, especially this past winter, we're definitely catching up day by day with regard to tornadoes. We got several more days of possibly destructive tornadoes to go. Definitely some nasty wx yesterday with a wedge tornado near Granville, Illinois and also Utica, Illinois.
