Tornado warnings are in effect for Freeborn County, in southern Minnesota. That tornado is doppler indicated. Floyd County remains under a tornado warning for a few minutes. A tornado has been sighted with this storm 5 miles northwest of Charles City, moving se at 25 mph. Folks in Charles City need to seek shelter on the lowest floor of your home, perferably a basement. If not a basement, then a hall, closest, or interior bathroom will do. Protect your head with your hands to avoid getting hit in the head by flying debris. This is a dangerous situation. Folks in Floyd County need to seek shelter now.
