This is "SPRING?"

I don't get it.....ALL the weather experts called for a DRY, WARM spring here in the Southwest, "Phhhft!" So far, it's been COLDER than normal and "WET!" I've NOT seen this thing some call the "sun"
in over 12 DAYS!!! BTW....what exactly IS the sun? I've received just a hair over 4.34" of precip, including melted SNOW, in the past 12 days, which is 3.41" ABOVE normal, HEY, I'm NOT complaining at ALL...with the early start to the wildfire season just 13 days ago, I'll take ALL the moisture I can get BUT........SNOW with SEVERE T boomers, take for instance last night, I had .82" of rain in just 2 hours with the most AWESOME CC-CG show I've seen since last years monsoon season! Pretty BIZZARE if you ask me

with temperatures in the 70's and only a few clouds. The impulses are coming through you now after we got the ULL last week. The whole mess is supposed to shift east by Tuesday with a strong warmup.

We've been having the exact opposite weather as you with below normal rainfall and above normal temps. We finally had some rain Tuesday and there is more to come this weekend and then a reminder that it's still early spring...Tuesday morning it will be around 40 degrees!

that last March was the warmest on record in Tucson and I had the second warmest in my period of record. This despite a cold and wet start to the month.

Well, I'm glad that it's been "abnormal" compared to what you have had in recent years.
It looks like spring has sprung around here. Forsythia is blooming, the Bradford pear trees are starting to bloom, the daffodils are in full bloom, tulips are almost ready to. TONS of robin have been around and I do hear the cardinals chirping. We also had a male & female Canadian geese visiting our court last week, going from lawn to lawn. We have woods and a creek behind our development - my court is at the end of it. Last night I saw a Great Blue Heron fly over my house. What a beautiful sight!

Sounds like you are getting some much needed moisture. Hope it continues coming to help ease your drought situation.

maybe if they are wrong about your spring being dry and warm then perhaps they are wrong about this being a bogus year for severe storms. that would be good in a weatherlover kind of way... p
