If you think that you saw snowflakes mixed in with the rain, well you did. Yep, that pesky ULL continued to sit and spin this morning out to the east and the cold air coming down from N OH/MI/N IN produced a mix of rain and snow...with all snow in higher elevations where it was/is colder...we should clear the rain out by early afternoon...Wilmington, OH radar:

This shows the rain to the east now of downtown Cincinnati where I am currently...it is now 42° under cloudy skies at the Cincinnati.N KY Int'l Airport...

We're not getting snow, but we are on the eastern side of the low and getting rain. It is neat to see the spin of the low on the satelite images. Can't miss it! :D

Now, if it would just move along...

That was the hardest thing to catch, whether there would eb snow or not. The temps had to be just right, and further south in teh mountainous regions of the Appalachians was easy, but across Ohio, a bit difficult without being available more to watch the temps.
As for rain, the northeast has been hammered. I had an IM from someone in Mass, and they reported 5" in NE Massachusetts.

That's a bit unusual for spring, is it not?

What, snow, Josh? Not for here...last few years it seems we've gotten at least a little snow in April...
