Across Northeastern Texas, Eastern Oklahoma, Southeastern Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, and Northern Louisana.
A Cold front will be dropping through the area while at the sametime with the associated low pressure, a warm front will be lifting northward through the Mid-Mississippi River Valley. With a strong southerly component of the wind field, and a rapid desent of the cold front through this area, severe weather is likely late Saturday and into the evening.
This will move into the Missouri River valley, and further northeast and east as the accompanied coldfront drops south and southeast. Areas further east such as Southern Illinois, Indiana, and the Tennessee River Valley could see some of these severe storms later in the evening hours Saturday into Sunday morning.
Please be aware of approaching weather, and stay tuned to your local weather outlets for more information.
