With Low Pressure deepening north of the Great Lakes, rains will extend trough Western New England, south and soutwestward along the Appalachian states, and through the Gulf Coastal States. The potential for severe weather has lessened dramatically then what we saw during last week in the forecast models. This is why weather updates have to be updated, which makes it hard of those of us that have a full plate so to say!
As for the beginning of the work week. Rain will move east along the Gulf Coastal Staes, with a chance of isolated thunderstorms. There is a slight chance of some of these thunderstorms reaching severe. Rain is the most important part of this system.
By Monday Morning, showers and isolated thunderstorms will be strectched along the coastal regions of the Gulf Coast from Southern Texas to Louisiana and Mississippi, through Central Alabama, and Northern Georgia where it weakens a bit and into the Carolina's. Low Pressure associated with this trough will bomb in Eastern Canada. There will be a chance for snow in Upper Michigan, and the western parts of New England. With windy conditions along the Great Lakes eastern and southern shores. Rain slides through the Southeast later in the day Monday, with lesser amounts then previously forecast. This is where we need the rain!
On Tuesday, an area of weak low pressure at the surface begins to move north out of the Bahama's, and this will add to the rain chances along the Florida East Coast, and into the Carolina's by late in the day. Rain Showers will be across Central texas, and cooler temps will be making their way into the Great Lakes for Wednesday. These showers will slide east into midweek, and will be associated with a weak low pressure moving east-southeast from Canada and the Northern Plains. This system could actually bring some light snows, and cold rains for most of the areas surrounding the Great Lakes and Midwest.
Out to the west, WARM temps will be on tap from the Plains, Desert Southwest, and West Coast as High Pessure builds off the Pacific Coast into Midweek!
