TORNADO WATCH in effect for parts of GA, FL ,and SC

The storms prediction center in Norma, OK has issued a tornado watch for parts of southeast Georgia, northern Florida, and parts of South Carolina in effect this Friday afternoon and evening from 2:15 PM EST until 7:00 PM EST.
Tornadoes, hail to 1 inch in diameter, thunderstorm wind gusts to 70 mph, and dangerous lightning are possible in and near this tornado watch. A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes in and near the watch area. Persons in these areas could be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible warnings.
