Nebraska Weather....Who Knows

#1 Postby weatherwunder » Tue Mar 11, 2003 11:07 pm

Lets see here, it was 13 degrees on Saturday, today it was 68 degrees. It is suppose to get warmer the rest of the week. Storms on Sunday, then snow on Tuesday and Wednesday.

So, if you would like to see ALL the different weather events, stop by Lincoln, Nebraska for a few days.

I am really glad to be a part of Storm2K! What a bunch of great people, and I have only been here 20 minutes and I have figured that out!

Amazing swings ! I lived in Omaha from 1997 to 2000. I remember just having moved there from South Carolina and driving home from work in a massive snowstorm in middle April 97 !! I didn't even have snow tires yet. It was a heck of an experience !

Let it snow..........

Hmmm, sounds like either the famous Chinook snoweating wind or a screaming southerly flow ... I must agree that some of the most radical temperatures changes occur in the area of the U.S.

Especially even further north, where ND's all time record low and all time record high occurred in the same year.
(1936) I think the records are as followed: the low was -60, and the high was 121. I'll look this one up sometime later.
