HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSONVILLE FL
600 AM EST SAT MAR 8 2003

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST
GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING
AND TONIGHT NORTH OF A LINE FROM MATANZAS INLET TO TRENTON.

LOCAL RIVER FLOODING CONDITIONS CONTINUE ACROSS THE REGION...
REFER TO THE CURRENT RIVER STATEMENTS FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE IN JACKSONVILLE.

THERE WILL BE AN ABOVE NORMAL RISK OF RIP CURRENTS TODAY.

OTHERWISE... NO OTHER HAZARDOUS WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE INTO MONDAY MORNING THAT MAY
AGAIN INCREASE THE RISK OF FLOODING.

THE RISK OF RIP CURRENTS WILL REMAIN ABOVE AVERAGE ON SUNDAY.

OTHERWISE... NO OTHER HAZARDOUS WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED.

There's also a risk in the Ohio valley as well....possibly a greater risk this go around compared to Florida. Besides.....Florida has seen enough action for the week I'd say! lol

Looked like a good old fashioned squall line blased through Northern Florida this morning, though it doesn't appear based on storm reports at SPC that this was a damaging event.

Exception would be with the stronger cells back towards the Panhandle of Florida and SE AL with 8 hail reports (as of 4:30 pm)

Correction (7:35 pm): 2 tornadoes in Nobleton County ...see RobTheStormChaser's post for details
