URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN ANGELO TX
1144 AM CST MON DEC 15 2003

...BLOWING DUST ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE BIG COUNTRY...

.A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM HAS DEVELOPED OVER THE TEXAS PANHANDLE
TODAY. STRONG WEST WINDS OF 35 TO 45 MPH WILL GUST UP TO 55
MPH THIS AFTERNOON...LOWERING VIBILITIES IN BLOWING DUST TO 1 MILE AT
TIMES...WITH LOCALLIZE AREAS DOWN TO 1/4 MILE. THE WINDS IN BIG
SPRING AT 11 AM WERE ALREADY GUSTING TO 60 MPH...WITH
VISIBILITIES AT 1/2 MILE.

1144 AM CST MON DEC 15 2003

...BLOWING DUST ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN ANGELO HAS ISSUED A BLOWING
DUST ADVISORY FOR THE BIG COUNTRY. A HIGH WIND WARNING IS ALSO IN
EFFECT.

STRONG WEST WINDS AROUND 40 MPH WILL GUST UP TO 55 MPH. VISIBILITIES
IN BLOWING DUST WILL FALL TO 1 MILE...WITH SOME AREAS OCCASIONALLY
DOWN TO 1/4 MILE.

STRONG WINDS WILL CAUSE BLOWING DUST THAT CAN REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO
NEAR ZERO...ESPECIALLY NEAR PLOWED FIELDS AND CONSTRUCTION AREAS.
PEOPLE WITH RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS SHOULD REMAIN INDOORS UNTIL THE WIND
SUBSIDES AND THE BLOWING DUST SETTLES.
