Storm Fury....heavy rain in Central Florida Next week?

#1 Postby Steve H. » Mon Mar 03, 2003 10:57 pm

I've seen it on one day and off the next for heavy rain in central florida the next two weeks. As timing would have it, I'm having a new drain field dug for my septic system next week, and I'm hoping that after he finishes and grades the topsoil that it doesn't get washed away. Should I put him off a week?? Oh BTW, I noticed there's no off topic board anymore. Wanted to post that things are heating up in Iraq ( the war that's really started already) and the four MIGs that locked their fire system radar onto one of our surveillance planes over the sea of Japan. RC-135 I think. VERY SERIOUS SITUATION THERE FOLKS, and yes it happened today. Two MIG 29s and two MIG 23s I think. IS the RC-135 a Rivet Joint Plane??? I know it's not Joint STARS. Bag Baghdad - the Koreans are nutz!! Keep Praying. later.

Hi Steve,

I hope the rain does not come for you so you can get your septic system sorted out. I am in flagler county and have frankly had enough of this rain already!

PS. the off topic board is still there, it is called off topic, the home of the pot belly stove ;)

This upcoming week continues to feature an active SBJ and s/w impulses bringing across the potential for on again one day, off again, the next day, etc. rains across Florida - particularly Northern/Central Florida.

Hey Amanzi, call me stupid but could you tell me where exactly is the Off Topic "pot belly" stove? I don't see it on the Forum page. BTW, is that you suckin' on the champagne bottle at the wedding?? LOL! I may wait to another two weeks to do the drain field thing. I don't want to throw $6K down the drain  Thanks

LOL Steve...Yep thats me (with my bottle)

This rain is getting to me. The model's have no agreement as to when this is going to come to a complete end according to my NWS forecast. Tomorrow looks like the most promising for drying out, but the rain looks to be back (maybe in a big way) this weekend
