MIAMI -- Gov. Jeb Bush's plane was hit by lightning Thursday as it traveled from Tallahassee to Orlando.
The strike put a hole in one of the wings, but none of the seven people onboard was injured. The plane landed safely in Orlando.
Bush and his staff then took another plane to Miami Beach for a scheduled appearance.
Speaking at the Miami Beach convention center Thursday afternoon, Bush said the flight went through bad weather. He also said he wasn't scared by the lightning strike.
