Its 36 degrees here and pouring down rain and very cold. I guess the upper levels are warm though - no snow yet. But I am not giving up - the temps have dropped over 24 degrees since yesterday evening.

Its pouring down rain right now with thunder and lightning and it feels like its getting colder. Just heard Dallas has 2 inches of snow and schools are closed and like PTracker said earlier - in Alice in far south texas - they are getting snow.

Do any of you experts see any sign of possible winter precip for us in Houston - stormsfury, vb, wrkh99? Please post.

I can tell you where its at - north texas.... LOL.

Just drove to work and ran into a patch of sleet - really loud when it hits the windshield.

Temp is holding steady at around 40 degrees in my neck of the woods. Oh well - once we get out of this event - it will be Spring Time.
