* I am running a trial contest this week to see how much participation I get. If there is a lot of participation, I will continue past this week. For those of you who don't know, this contest is normally held at WxChat. *

Forecast high and low temperatures for the location of your choice for each day from Monday, November 3 through Friday, November 7.

To calculate your overall score, your high temperature score will be multiplied by 2/3 and your low temperature score will be multiplied by 1/3. Those 2 will then be added together for your overall score. Keep in mind that low temperatures for each day typically occur in the morning; don't get confused and end up being a day off with your low temperature forecast.

This contest will close around midnight Sunday night. Scores will be posted Saturday morning.

You may quote the following and fill in your forecast.
Location:
Mon: °F / °F
Tue: °F / °F
Wed: °F / °F
Thu: °F / °F
Fri: °F / °F

Before we get any entries... can you put the 3 letter code? (Topeka, KS would be TOP). Thanks, and good luck.

This contest didn't do too well when it was tried in late May or early June. (I was in Massachusetts when it was attempted).

Hopefully it does better this time around.

I'll assume JLN for Joplin unless you tell me otherwise.

Come on people, lets get over a dozen participants like we did that one other time! :)

Tom... the last time the contest was held.. it was in the links forum, which was hardly used, nor looked at. This forum is used much more, thus possible more parcipitation.

I agree... but possibily more participation. I am not sure what keeps even those that come here on a fairly regular basis away from most of the forums. I access every single one of them.

Hehehehe... My first week forecasting and if you looked at my forecast when I made it compared to my local NWS you would see I was more accurate than they were. Oh well... here I try again.
