Thanks, Stormsfury. I checked out your link.

What a forecasting difference for southern mid-TN between
our local Nashville mets and the NWS! Check this out for
Saturday:

Local Channel4 Nashville mets say:

Hi 62 F
Lo 58 F
Rain/T-Shwrs Likely

NWS says:

Saturday. Showers. Scattered thunderstorms mainly in the morning with heavy rainfall. Some thunderstorms may have damaging winds. Highs in the mid 50s with temperatures falling in the afternoon. West winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.

Saturday night. Cloudy and colder. A chance of showers mainly before midnight. A few snow flurries possible after midnight. Lows in the mid 30s. Northwest winds 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Whoah!! Different looking forecast, eh? :o :?:
