#1 Postby Rob-TheStormChaser » Mon Feb 17, 2003 1:57 pm

Image
Feb17_03Neighbors
Looking SSW. Some places no snow from scathing winds....other places 3-6 feet!

Image
Feb17_03Backyard
Looking due West. At least my car didnt get snow on it this time! Notice to the left how high those drifts are! 5 feet+!

Image
Feb17_03EastDrift
Looking due East. A true Nor'Easter when the 'white whale' appears! This drift encompasses the house and the winds are howling bigtime!

Image
Feb17_03Greenhouse
BBQ grill surrounded by 3-5 foot drifts. Looking out through greenhouse.

Image
Feb17_03NW
Looking NW. Those are the tops to our bushes/trees alongside the road. Those bushes are 6-9 feet high!!

Image
Feb17_03Pressure
Our front 'Florida Room' which has pressurized snow drifting inside of the doors from high winds!

Image
Feb17_03Shed
Serious drifting in our backyard....looking SW from our side door in the garage. 5-6 feet deep there!

Image
Feb17_03SideDoor
Looking from inside our side door of the garage to our greenhouse annex. Drifts are 4-5 feet deep here!

Lets just say thats some snow. That picture of the Florida room is amazing with the snow inside the house.

Be careful in the next day or two when you get out and start your snow blowing chores.

Thanks for sharing the pictures with us here at storm2k - keeping taking more - makes us wishcasters here in the South's day!

I'm not going out until tomorrow, when maybe the sun is out and we can escape the single digits and teens we've had. This is enough for one year! I'll update my totals soon...when I can get some valid other reports as well as my own!

When are ya gonna update your "snowfall measured in the backyard so far" stat? Someday when you can actually make it to the backyard for a measurement.
