Dulles snow

#4 Postby hurricanedude » Fri Feb 14, 2003 11:02 am

Ill go with a lolli pop of 19 inches at dulles, there in a slightly more favorable environment than Reagan airport with them being located a bit west which could lead to a marginal upslope enhancement of precip...so I'll say 19" for Dulles

Pretty bad when I have to quote myself! Well...looks like today is the day we see DC get bombed and most of the numbers we said here are being passed as we speak.

Obviously after looking at all the data, the deadline expired ...
The fact is that I expect DC to pick up 18"-24" of snow ... if no IP/ZR mixes ... possibly up to 30" especially if thunderstorms get involved.

Not sure but if the month to date is only 11.9" then Dulles got alot less compared to most places.
