#1 Postby pojo » Fri Sep 12, 2003 9:41 pm

Yes, I'm serious....Friday (9/12) was the first time in 20 days that NEW (Northeast WI) has received any rainfall. Its definitely a welcome sight!!!!! The rainfall started at 415pm and has yet to let up. It is supposed to rain all weekend long.

Well, looks like from that front pushing through we got about 1.88" of rain, so our flowers should be happy today!

Shannon...both my father and father-in-law have 4" diameter rain gauges in their yards thanks to a certain weather fella they know.

One had .62" on Friday, and the other had .84". They live about 7 miles apart about 20 miles S of the Wisconsin border along I-90.

Just got one of them a wireless outdoor temp sensor too...so I will get temp readings from them in the months ahead too.

Great to see you get some rain.

BTW...Congrats to the Pack for their win today!

We are expecting maybe some showers later tonight, that's about it, I would be surprised to hear another boom before next season, which means this season was a DUD as well!
