Looks like Arkansas is geting hit with a Suprise Snow storm. 7 - 10 inches will fall in some areas today . Winter storm warning have just been posted . Now where is my snow ?

Yes, I noticed Little Rock, Arkansas at 32 degrees at 11:00 AM or so there time with Heavy Snow; in contrast, Taunton, Massachusetts (10 miles west of where I grew up and where the Boston area/southern and eastern National Weather Service office is located [moved from Boston, MA several years ago]) was Fair and 30 degrees.

EXPECTED.
EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES WILL BE THE MAIN AREA
OF CONCERN FOR MOTORISTS WITH TEMPERATURES JUST BELOW FREEZING. AS
SNOW ACCUMULATES MORE TOWARD LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING...UNTREATED
ROADS AND SECONDARY ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND HAZARDOUS AS
WELL.
MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE EXTREME CAUTION ON ROADWAYS INTO THIS
EVENING. TRAVEL ONLY IF IT IS NECESSARY.
