It may not get a lot of attention with so much going on, but major tornadoes are ongoing right now.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
DAKOTA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...
SOUTHERN DIXON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...

* UNTIL 630 PM CDT

* AT 546 PM CDT...A CONFIRMED LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO
WAS LOCATED NEAR EMERSON
...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

THIS IS A PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

HAZARD...DAMAGING TORNADO.

SOURCE...WEATHER SPOTTERS CONFIRMED TORNADO.

IMPACT...YOU ARE IN A LIFE THREATENING SITUATION. MOBILE HOMES WILL
BE DESTROYED. CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE TO HOMES...BUSINESSES
AND VEHICLES IS LIKELY AND COMPLETE DESTRUCTION POSSIBLE.
FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DEADLY TO PEOPLE AND ANIMALS. EXPECT
TREES TO BE UPROOTED OR SNAPPED.

A violent multiple vortex tornado. I keep on seeing pics the thing is just massive.

Sioux City is seriously under the gun now - potentially violent tornado en route to it!

Hearing the tornado near Sloan, IA is over a mile wide right now...may God help those in the path!

Two supercells on either side of Sioux City, both with likely violent tornadoes attached.

It's getting dark too. That makes them even more dangerous.

That is a key difference from Moore and El Reno. They happened in clear sight.

It's more dangerous then El Reno in that way plus they are violent tornadoes more then likely. Jeff P. is tracking a mile wide one right now ...
