New color added on to Australia's weather maps

I wasnt too sure where to post this story because I wanted people to read it.There is such a climate change down in Australia that they had to add a color to their current heat wave.

Wow, you don't see a met agency take such action too often. Also, I kind of wonder why the lower end of the scale is at -60 C? Shouldn't get so cold in winter down there.

our hottest desert southwest locations see 120 temps on a regular basis in the summer. I'm surprised the same isn't true down there. i was impressed with the "new color" story until i saw the conversion number.
