. The coolest periods will occur from late December into early January and from late January through the first half of February. Snow is likely in northern parts of the region in mid-November and late January. Snow in early February may reach all the way to the Gulf Coast.
February 1-3 Sunny, cold
February 4-7 Very cold, sunny north; rain and snow south
February 8-9 Snow north, rain south
February 10-15 Sunny, cold
February 16-21 Turning warmer, rain
