What a Gullywasher!!

#1 Postby southerngale » Sun Aug 17, 2003 10:35 pm

Well, the good news is that I got some much needed rain. :D The bad news is that it knocked out my electricity for nearly 4 hours!! :(

Around 5pm some good, loud thunderstorms rolled through and brought me 2.25 inches of rain this evening....I could have lived without the power going out though. Oh well, it's back on now and all is well.

About 5 1/2 inches total since last Monday....hopefully this pattern will stay and goodbye drought!!

Hey SG, quit hoggin all the rain! I've had only about .75" of rain for the whole month of August and things are getting dry and hot. I thought we would get some yesterday but it was everywhere but here. Hopefully today we'll get some!

Southerngale, I'm up near Conroe and we got hit pretty good by a storm pushing severe limits. We only got a half inch out of it. Whereabouts do you live? More on tap today hopefully and into tomorrow.
