Learning alot living here. Need snowflakes produced at a certain temp in the atmosphere to produce those waffle like flakes. Typically when the surface temp is no colder than 29F, you can get really big flakes, and thats when the totals truly add up. Its awesome to see dendrites bombing down for a few hours.

Agree. The ridges are up there and they will mean "trouble" down below eventually. All is well.
