I agree. It’s rather annoying but at least temperatures are being kept in check.

On a side note, I had reached out to NWS FWD a few months back and tonight a meteorologist from there is speaking at our Cub Scout Pack meeting. The kids are excited as are some of the parents. Pretty cool for them to do this for us.

Let me guess, N TX rain chances are evaporating later this week?

It seems that one part of the state gets the rain while others wait their turn often. lol.

I don’t really think rain chances are very good for any part of the state over the next 5 or so days. After that, who knows? My personal thinking is that it’ll start turning wetter for a good part of the state as we get into the last few days of the month.

Late April is looking interesting for severe storms, but it could be capped again!

Looks like a pretty active pattern will be bringing some beneficial rainfall to much of Texas over the next several weeks! Possible large MCS late tomorrow to kick things off, then passing disturbances bringing rain chances every few days. Like Bubba said, the wet pattern could continue through the month of May. Bring it on!

Had a couple tornado warnings earlier, and was able to see a funnel. Most intense slight risk day I've had in a while, maybe ever.

And here I was thinking this would be a cap bust
