From local mets, I was under the impression the rain wasn't supposed to start until late Thursday or Friday. Funny one station only said 40% for Friday and another said 60% for late Thursday and 100% strong storms for Friday and 40% for early Sat. I don't think any of them had any chance for Wednesday and it's already starting to pop up on radar. I didn't see the other station.
You'd think their forecasts would at least be similar! :?

like 20% Weds., 50% Thurs, 80% Fri. and a Gorgeous weekend. Already we have had rain here in Houston since about 4pm. I haven't checked the guage yet, but I would expect to find at least an inch in it. Of course now the percentages have jumped up per the discussions and obvious change in the weather. Looks like the front approached closer tonight than they thought it would and radar shows it to be now retrograding N. It will surely come through or approach closely again tomorrow. Can you say GLUB! GLUB!?? Some local OCM's are calling for 3"-5" for Friday!!! PLEASE SPREAD IT OUT OVER A FEW DAYS!!! :o
