I guess I'm kinda on a down note today ...
The last few days have been kinda of a downer for me...

All that good luck I had from last week is catching up to me now, and I'm looking for anything to cheer me up some ...

(You know it's kinda hard coming off the high I had winning almost $1300 from last Wednesday to last Tuesday) ...

Plus I haven't talked to HG in a while -

lol Amanzi...we will turn the other way so you can take care of Joe...we'll take the hubby off ya for a few hours fishing and shooting pool or bowling! lol What are friends for?

Mike I hear ya man...dont worry things change for the better...just like the weather my friend...always cant have a sunny day. I hope HG drops by here and doesnt get so busy! She's a trip!

lol Amanzi...its all in good taste! Now I totally forgot what this topic was....oh yeah....weather! wooohoooo ok ok back on topic....its snowing here still..lol I just updated my totals on the side and we got about 3.5-4" I thought it was more, but not so. Looks like Boston got the load this time.

lol Marshall...I dunno bout that cane...if she whacks me with that I just might like it! :roll: Anyhow, when the weather turns ugly, there's always a few members who we can turn to to get our humor up! You mods are doing a bang-up job...keep at it! I feel a little 'wishcasty' at the moment and almost want to have Florida get some snow within a weeks time...hmmmm possible, but doubtful! :lol:

Joe Bastardi free promo site was alright when it was free but I just can't see paying 10$ for him to focus on the North East states, the big cities on the east coast, and the famous I-95 corridor. If I had a dollar for everytime he says I-95 corridor I would be able to buy Accuweather and focus on U.S. weather and not be partial to the northeast by wishcasting noreasterns. :grrr:

Joe B. is 1 for 12 this season ... I hate to say this since I know a lot of people like Accuweather, but IMO, Accuweather is one of the least accurate in the biz.
Side note: Former mets at CHS from a few years back consider Accuweather a dead end company (this was when I had some sights on actually becoming a met)

The former Director at CHS Dick Shenot gave me a lot of valuable information a while past and also when I joined the Spotter Network in June of 1992, helped me out a lot with a quality rain gauge, etc.
I also impressed him without any formal training in meteorology, or any courses, that he specifically stated I knew more about meteorology (at 20 years of age) than a few of his meteorologists!!!!....*LOL*

I wouldn't pay money for Joe B.'s forecasts, though earlier today I did see a free video ... he is quite entertaining, I must admit that. One Eye, you're right, he does focus too much on the NE and I-95 cities.
