The straight-line winds alone could be catastrophic with the traffic jams, forget the tornadoes...

It seems like there are no reports of what is happening in OKC even on CNN (no current footage either strangely). Just more power flashes and stuff.

Is this thing headed straight for the radar site? If so, will the radome survive?

News stations reporting as many as two fatalities already. Report of a mother and child killed when thrown from their car.

Everything is rain wrapped. Nightmare unfolding, standstill highways, multiple strong circulations.

The NWS needs to assemble a Service Assessment team and start tomorrow morning. So much is going wrong here...and it is not their fault or the media's (other than TWC).

That cell over the OKCity metro area just WON'T STOP generating either out west.

Also there are TONS of warnings out at the moment. Must be a dozen or so.

At least Bettes is media and has some reason to be there.

And no one is reporting what the gate-to-gate winds are either (the couplet in OKC now). I don't have GRLevel running so I can't see it.

13 Thunderstorm and 8 Tornado as of this moment. I've seen LOTS more. I've seen numbers into the 40s and 50 simultaneously.

Gosh I hope this is wrong: "Multiple cars crashed and overturned on I-40 and I-35 in OKC - @kfor"

KFOR: one-foot diameter trees snapped in two west of Moore.

I know (cue April 2011) - still, one of the busiest days of this year at least.

I've just read similar on ABC and some other sites. Something about police running rolling roadblocks to deter traffic.

@wfaaweather (Dallas/Pete Delkus): "Circulation passing right over Moore, OK right now. Debris in the air being reported."

KFOR helicopter - power flashes near I-35 in south Moore.
