Dangerous weather event developing over C and N TX.
Tornado Watch in effect until 900pm
Dryline starting to fire over N TX just W of Fort Worth with 3 very well defined supercells.
Approaching jet streak, coupled with rapid low level moisture return, and surface heaitng along the dryline will support rapid and violent thunderstorm formation over the next 2-3 hours. Old outflow boundary from central Collin Co. TX to NE Ellis Co TX will enhance the low level shear over Dallas, Rockwall, and Kaufman counties with a high extreme hail and tornado threat through the next 2-3 hours.
Southward surface warm front is along a line from Galveston to Wharton and moving N of 10mph. Air mass over SE TX is becoming very moist and unstable given advection of cold mid level temps. Shear profiles and backed low level winds N of the returning warm front will favor rotating supercells with very large hail and damaging winds.
Dry line storms will really get active as they reach the rich moisture moving inland from the Gulf over E and SE TX overnight tonight.
All severe modes are possible, including a few large tornadoes within the SPC MOD risk area.
This is a weather dangerous situation, tuen to local media and NOAA weather radio for warning information.
