I'm spinnin so fast I've set up my own low pressure in my cubicle. Must be working as evidenced by the condensation on the windows!

Here on the east side of Dallas, we got some light rain yesterday evening, and today a little bit of thunder, with some nice rain. The big show is supposed to be later with severe t-storms. I just want some rain. Tired of running the sprinklers.

It won't happen. I think I'm gonna go sit on a bicycle under a large tree in an open field, with an umbrella, baseball bat, and fishing rod in tote. If I get bored, I'll climb the tree and swing from the power lines.

See ya'll after while.

Lots of convection firing up in Southeast, Texas at the moment. Dewpoints are still in the upper 50's and low 60's across the area. The warm front is expected to push northward from the coast at anytime and if tihs does materialize, it could get kind of rough around here.

Looks like it's trying - veeeeeerrry slowly, which means most likely a miserable rush hour. But I'm not complaining!!!

Dangerous weather event developing over C and N TX.

Tornado Watch in effect until 900pm

Dryline starting to fire over N TX just W of Fort Worth with 3 very well defined supercells.

Approaching jet streak, coupled with rapid low level moisture return, and surface heaitng along the dryline will support rapid and violent thunderstorm formation over the next 2-3 hours. Old outflow boundary from central Collin Co. TX to NE Ellis Co TX will enhance the low level shear over Dallas, Rockwall, and Kaufman counties with a high extreme hail and tornado threat through the next 2-3 hours.

Southward surface warm front is along a line from Galveston to Wharton and moving N of 10mph. Air mass over SE TX is becoming very moist and unstable given advection of cold mid level temps. Shear profiles and backed low level winds N of the returning warm front will favor rotating supercells with very large hail and damaging winds.

Dry line storms will really get active as they reach the rich moisture moving inland from the Gulf over E and SE TX overnight tonight.

All severe modes are possible, including a few large tornadoes within the SPC MOD risk area.

This is a weather dangerous situation, tuen to local media and NOAA weather radio for warning information.

Dustructive hail and wind storms moving into DFW metro area. Warning in effect for Tarrant CO.

Hail to the size of dimes or larger along to 60-70mph winds will be possible.

Any of these cells could produce a tornado at any time given the favorable low level shear.

Low level boundary remaines from near Plano TX to E Dallas TX which may enhance low level shear due to backed low level flow increasing the tornado threat.
