Rainband, we got stuck in a dry slot today. Heavy weather north and south of us but all we got was about 10 minutes of rain in Tampa...

I am in extreme northern Sumter county and got walloped by a severe thunderstorm (Severe Thunderstorm Warning was in effect) during the mid-afternoon.

The wind gusts must have been close to 60 miles per hour for a time, blew down a lot of tree debris, etc.

There was no hails, but reports of it in across central Florida... as well as the Doppler indicated and spotted tornadoes in west-central and extreme southern portions of the state.
