Last September 18 I tried to conduct a jebwalk, while Isabel was raising cane (no pun intended) in my neck of the woods.

That was not one of my better ideas folks. Trying to enjoy a jebwalk in 50 to 70 mph winds is more like a nightmare, and I was getting nowhere fast. I was holding on to a sign and fervently praying I would not be blown away.

If Isabel was any indication, I don't think I want to do a jebwalk in or anywhere near a tornado. Forty miles an hour windspeed is plenty, I just want a few inches of rain, like about 8 inches of rain.

I'm enjoying this outbreak to the max, but I am hoping that no tornado warnings are hoisted for Prince William County, Virginia tomorrow.

I'll tell ya what, I'll make a deal with ya. I give you all my tornadoes, and in exchange for my gracious gift to all you severe weather enthusiasts, you give me all your rain. Thanks. :)

Severe threat continues tomorrow, however, the tornado threat will greatly diminish as the cold front will begin to elongate and orientate W-E across AL/GA and the Carolinas... a strong squall line is expected to blast through the Mid-Atl with potential for damaging straight line winds being the primary threat ...

Hey SF, how about rain chances for N VA? Will this system bring me some excessive rain? We're gonna have an outdoor picnic and I want to get drenched (but NOT blown away lol).
