Might have turned out to be a good thing that it held out for so long ... less freezing rain to contend with.

According to the latest GSP discussion, you may have two more rounds.
That one that is filling in and another upper vort for Monday Morning ... this vort is hanging back in Missouri, Arkansas right now ... (shows up nicely on WV satellite.

Thanks for the good work stormsfury. I would pay ya if i could...you have really nailed this storm. You were calling it early and you stuck with it and all this hard work paid off. I wish you could get in on some of the action tho! Y'all are expected to see some strong storms though right?

Thanks, JQ ... I can take some credit but not all ... had some great information at my disposal ... you can email me at my website address and I'll give you info where to send the check ... *LOL* ... j/k.

I won't get anything but a colder rain ... temperatures finally started falling here as the new low is taking shape and driving down some colder air ... temperature now down to 43 ... light rain ...

I didn't get any strong storms moving over the cool shallow stable layer over me earlier and not a lot of rain either ... only .42" of rain so far.

Actually, I'm checking it out right now ...

Actually developing right where I said it would be ... I KNEW IT!!!.
About 100 miles off to the east of Charleston ... (from my website - I just added RUC links to the Model Forecast Page - so quick and easy!)

Initial RUC Surface Observations - Look at the circle east of South Carolina ... that's where the new low is developing.

Looks like you have a couple more hours of steady precip before it begins to taper down ...

It's very possible with sleet showing strong returns and maybe looking heavier than it actually is ...
