I lost quite a few shingles in the last one. Not looking forward to this one.

Just don't talk to Insurance until the end of the season because they'll ding you for a deductible for every claim if you do.

At least that's what I've heard.

Yeah, I’m hoping for a decent hail storm before I make the claim. My wind damage coverage isnt as great as my hail damage.

As usual for this early in the season, east of DFW. So, not much attention on here.

Guess it depends on where in the metro you’re located. Chances aren’t high anywhere in the metro, but are a little higher in Dallas and Collin and rise further out east. HRRR tries to initiate a couple of storms on I-35 around 5pm, we’ll see.

Would be a good idea to keep an eye out then, as you said. Haven’t looked at your forecast but you’re right in the middle of the SPC’s slight risk area

Interesting for NE TX how the action looked like it would stay north of I-20 according to model runs up until mid-day or so, and now looks like it might stay all south of I-20. At least for Texas.

Just had a virga induced 50 mph sustained wind here in Ponder.

I called the weather office and reported it. It got cranking and it was insane.

Despite cloud cover moving in by early/mid afternoon, DFW managed a very late day spike to 84*F as the dry line enroached (the hottest day of March thus far).

I don't remember ever being in an extreme fire weather area (heck even critical is pretty rare for C and NE OK) so this could get interesting. But with 50mph+ gusts it doesn't surprise me
