lightning pics from central Maryland 7-27-05

#1 Postby WXBUFFJIM » Thu Jul 28, 2005 5:24 pm

Hey everyone. Just checking back in from central Maryland near Baltimore where we did get strong to severe storms and wind gusts of 50-70 mph widespread. 87,000 customers were without power at one point in the Baltimore area where Baltimore Gas and Electric Customers reside.

This storm also produced vivid and dangerous lightning. I got pictures of it which I want to show to you all.

Also I got a pic from 7-25-05 as an MCS or mesoscale convective system roared through the region during the morning hours.

That's all I got for now. I'll share more weather pics later and share more storm stories as need be.:) Hope you all like it.
