TORNADO EMERGENCY FOR NORTH KANSAS CITY

Tornado emergency has just been declared. A large destructive tornado is headed straight into north Kansas City. Omaha, NE is also under a tornado warning. Tornado sighted just southwest of Omaha right now.

TAKE SHELTER NOW IN THIS AREA.

Extensive damage being reported north of K.City. Very disturbing to see warnings for large metro areas.

Reports now possibly 4 dead including 3 in the KC area.

KC was hit...reports now coming in. At least one death reported already. Not a good situation. Looks tough in MO and IL too.

Insult to injury: A squall line just developed in the Kansas City area, which is exploding rapidly along the dryline.
