Wow its warm here in Southeast Texas...

#1 Postby Guest » Fri May 02, 2003 2:14 pm

Temp is fast approaching the 90's. Our local forecast has it in the 90's for most of the weekend. Its getting hot and dry here. Any know the long range outlook for this area for the summer months? What the temps might be and the precip?

Thanks,
Patricia

Yeah it seems that our spring is over here in the deep south. It feels just like summer today w/o the afternoon thunderstorms. It seems that almost every year it gets rather dry in april/may and then the rains start in june. I would hate having to go through a hot and dry summer!

Looks like all the rain will stay north of us this weekend. Hopefully we can get some next week.

Last long range I saw for this area has us a little below normal for temps and above average for precip. This is definitely warmer than I like!! However we are right at normal for this time of year temp wise.

Chad, it made it into the low 90s here, too... surprise, surprise.

We are getting some hot days in a row here in central Florida, but still not quite what we are to expect in the next one to four months. 8)
