RESERVOIRS NOW FULL in Baltimore, MD

#1 Postby WXBUFFJIM » Thu May 01, 2003 5:45 pm

All three reservoirs, Liberty, Loch Raven, and Prettyboy are 100
% full at this stage of the game. This is the first time all three of Baltimore's reservoirs were filled since May of 2001. The reservoirs serves the Baltimore metropolitan area with drinking water.

I will post more photos of all three reservoirs on the website and indicate that to you all later tonite or tomorrow am. Also could see thunderstorms friday afternoon with more heavy rains. No drought anytime soon. In addition isolated gusty winds and hail could also occur Friday in the DC, Baltimore, and Philly areas.

:12: That's great to hear Jim!

I think I did welcome you back when you first came onboard! I haven't seen any posts from you on TWC lately and I've been mostly hanging out in the "Off Topic" section of Storm2k. Looks like I'll be getting the majority of my weather info from here because there ain't nuthin' being posted at TWC!

Wow finally! Its been forever since i've heard a report from you. SO used to hearing it at twc. Prettyboy is full! Wahooo! I hope there are pre-emptive water restrictions this summer...like in some NC cities up there. Just in case :)
