Snow for the Big Cities?

#1 Postby wx247 » Thu Feb 06, 2003 7:36 pm

It is looking like it at this time. Philadelphia looks to get 5 to 7" and New York should get 3 or 4 inches. I am not confident in a Boston snowfall forecast. Opinions/thoughts?

Especially since it has started all over the Southern end of the Megalopolis!! It is as far North as Phillly now and will likely give most of the area from Ohio and WV to the Coast and North to NYC a good 3"-5" or more.

TWC's Paul Kocin says a new low will form in the nest few housrs off the SC coast and move ne along the coast.

Snow Totals

We've received about 7 -8 inches in my neck of the woods. I didn't even attempt to go to work this morning. My court wasn't plowed until about 9:00 am. It's very pretty.

Bad news about the security threat level being raised to "High" :( !
