ROCKWALL, TX REPORT

#1 Postby WXBUFFJIM » Sat Apr 05, 2003 10:55 pm

Just received softball size hail northeast of Dallas from supercell #1 northeast of dallas, which has taken a long trip through north texas and survived for 6.5 hours. A 2nd supercell north of dallas will head to rockwall with golfball to softball hail. Lots of damaging hail with this. Tornado threat had diminished somewhat for the time being. But a tornado watch is in effect and has been extended until 3 am for the BIG D and the entire metroplex. Severe thunderstorms do produce tornadoes with little or no advance warning. Take this outbreak very seriously in north texas overnight because severe wx will continue throughout the overnight period.
