Severe Weather Check IN!

#1 Postby Guest » Mon May 24, 2004 2:38 am

Everyone if possible please check in later today or tonight once the storms have passed you. I know we have a lot of members out in the areas outlined for high risk of severe weather later today and it would be great to know all is well. Just post here when you can once the storms have passed or asap.

Thanks!

Looks like Lincoln, NE is clear for the night. Looked pretty ugly at about 5pm, but it passed with just small hail.

Thanks for being concerned.

We are okay up the freeway from Jeff here in Omaha/Coucil Bluffs also, and we too are in the clear for the night, and pretty much for the rest of the week.

Reporting in from the north side of Kansas City. Watching a very intense lightning display off to the SE.

Waiting for the outflow boundary from the north to move through. Then the storms......yikes. Just a line of severe storms, but still going to be intense....

I was on AIM with Kristi last night as the storms moved through. She's near the south side of KC, and I'm on the north side. I believe everything is ok with her.

Everything here in SW Omaha is okay. We had a little scare with a rotating wall cloud that went over the apartment which led to the tornado warning for Sarpy County.
