Looks like a rough night ahead for Lincoln, Omaha, and Des Moines. Stay safe, everyone!

Things are quieting down a little, at least from what they were for about the last three to four hours.

Still some severe thunderstorm warnings over southeast Nebraska east into the Des Moines area of Iowa. A couple of radar indicated Tornado Warnings, one just southest of Omaha in Mills Co, IA is all that is left. Earlier, spotters were confirming tornadoes southwest of Lincoln. Saline county, just west of Lincoln was in a tornado warning for 3 hours straight thise vening!

Things are gradually becoming a flash flood situation, several counties are or will most likely come under flash flood warnings for the overnight. The Omaha/Council Bluffs area is included in a Flash Flood Warning.

SPC definitely made a good decision for the PDS Watch earlier, and the High risk in the last Day 1.

Looks like quite an evening for the plains. Looks to be the same for tomorrow.

Even worse, this pattern isn't moving much. Could this be a repeat of last May?
