Good long range forecast?

#1 Postby tano68 » Fri May 21, 2004 7:39 am

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a site that has a good long range forecast (if there is any such thing!) for the Houston area I'm planning a crawfish boil on the 29th of this month outside for my son's graduation party and praying it doesn't rain!

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Well, just a little piece of advice for you... there are several sites that offer long range forecasts: Accuweather, The Weather Channel, etc., but that far out (9 days) is an eternity in weather forecasting and it will be hard to nail anything down for your area. I do, however, suggest that you check your local National Weather Service homepage and by about Sunday they should have your forecast up for the 29th. I would think they would be your best bet.

Hope that helped you!!! :D

fyi, any good Cajuns at the boil wouldn't let rain get between them and some hot boiled crawfish. ;)

Hey gboudreaux,

I know exactly what you are talking about, I am a full-blooded cajun (from BR) and most of my family are coming from La. Trust me, we will still have the boil, I just wanted the little ones to use the pool that day. We will have the boil under big tents anyway, I didn't want the hassle of all the mud.

Don't worry, the pot and the keg will be very protected!!! :D
