I'm Dreamin' of a WHITE Easter!

Well folks....this has been a LONG standing Easter tradition and it's doing it AGAIN this year........"It's SNOWING!" Yesterday was the most bizzare, most DANGEROUS weather we've had in YEARS, the storm we had yesterday was WORSE than a summer monsoon system. 1.32" of rain 35 minutes, "DIME" sized hail, mixed with nickel sized covered the ground to a depth of 3" recorded wind gusts with this one system, 84 MPH here at the house! 1 "confirmed" tornado touched down 8 miles west of Winslow near Meteor Crater  What a "WILD and WOOLY" day THAT was, now.......just your common "White out conditions with goose feather snowflakes falling!"

I was amazed to see footage on TWC earlier this week of the tornado that touched down near Carlsbad, NM. I know that the SW does get tornados, but it seems like you guys are really under the gun this year!

one white Easter here since I've been here back in 1999. The severe weather was mostly confined to northern AZ close to the ULL but if my hearing can be trusted, we had some large hail falling just to my north about a 1/4 mile yesterday. Been an active Spring here which is sorely needed-hopefully the monsoon will be as active as well.
