Good afternoon folks. The latest tornado warning is in effect for Lauderdale County in eastern Mississippi in effect until 2:30 PM CST. At 1:21 PM CST, a tornado was sighted by storm spotters near Hickory moving northeast at 40 mph. This tornado will be near Nellieburg and Suqualena by 1:35 PM near Okatibee Lake at 1:45 PM.
Tornado warning is also in effect for Smith County in central Mississippi until 2:40 PM CS. At 2 PM CST, weather service radar indicated a tornado 3 miles southeast of Burns moving northeast at 40 mph, This possible tornado will be near or just north of Pineville by 2:50 PM.
These tornadoes will likely be wrapped in rain. Don't wait until you see the tornado coming, it maybe too late. Take shelter now in Lauerdale and Smith Counties in Mississippi.
