Impressive number of "Storm Spotter Dates"... are these all mentioned on NOAA Weather Radio? There were a few per week in Massachusetts (on the National Weather Service, Taunton, MA) several years ago; so I would figure they would let the public know about them, beings that over a dozen of them are scheduled at once.

I'm not sure...someone literally stole my Noaa weather radio!! But they are all listed!! We probably have more dates because the severe potential is generally higher in this area...that is my guess anyways!

Jacki, I was/am very sorry for hearing that your NOAA Weather Radio was stolen. (I remember you mentioned (in another thread) some weeks back.

I have a new police scanner (got it five days before my new computer) where I listen to my NOAA Weather Radio frequencies for the three National Weather Service offices I am in and literally down the street from.

I have a few NOAA Weather Radios, "alone" that I don't (have to) use on a regular basis because of my ongoing use of a police scanner for over a decade.

Hey Wally Girl! The gal whom makes killer sandwitches! lol
Great list of locations - thanks for the post! Hey, I broke down and bought that small am/fm radio w/tv station and weather radio thingy-ma-jig! Could you believe War-Mart carries it? I never bothered to check until Monday and saw it. Only 28 bucks. My other little radio I use on walks pretty much kicked the bucket. If this radio kicks buttocks, then I'm gonna like take more walks this spring/summer/fall. I'm gonna look so svelt, all because of my little weather radio! lol!
I'll see you at the Admin Building, if not earlier. Sat my last day, girl! ROCK!

Ohhhhh sniffle sniffle!! Now I'll have to talk to myself about the weather! Awesome, see I was looking in our WalMart, and I didn't see one, but I may just have to look into what you got, I'd bring it to work, I hate WalMart Radio!
