I wouldn't be surprised if a "Severe Thunderstorm Watch" or even a "Tornado Watch" is issued for at least a portion of central Florida with this storm system.

The National Weather Service offices in Jacksonville, Ruskin (Tampa Bay Area) and Melbourne, FL have increased the potential of severe weather across the peninsula with guidance from the National Severe Storms Forecast Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

We will see what happens. :)

Most of the activity was to my south, down toward Orlando.

There were several few minute long downpours, mainly after midnight. I heard a few rumbles of thunder as well... but too bad I wasn't further south (and southeast) or those storms were further north. :) :-?

I was debating whether or not to put southwest and/or south-southwest and south (and southeast) of me. :D -- but the south out of parentheses and the southeast in parentheses gives the southeast some indication.
