St. Elmo's Fire pic

my friend Lyle from KS sent me a pic to be added to the guest pages within my site as taken by one of his fellow boom operators. Lyle is a retired AF refueler and was telling me about St. Elmo's Fire which as i understand, is a static electrical discharge occurring in aircraft at high altitude. he says it harmless but for those in the AF, you may enjoy the pic found within the page below. i hope to add a few more of his aviation related images as he has some very impressive ones. p
