Numerous Severe Thunderstorm Warnings in CHS area.

#1 Postby Stormsfury » Sat Feb 22, 2003 1:21 pm

CHS has out 10 separate severe thunderstorm warnings right now issued.

Looks like I'm in the heart of it in about an hour. I have to go back to work ...

I'll relay any damage reports later ...

You're welcome, Amanzi ...

The squall line here had warnings for the entire tri-county area.
However, the bark was a lot worse than its bite ...

One real good blast of thunder from a CG strike and some heavy rains...
not much wind, though ... definitely had more wind this morning without the thunderstorms ...

A billboard fell onto power lines around 9 am this morning due to strong non-thunderstorm winds.
