Eastern Texas storms

#1 Postby GalvestonDuck » Thu Aug 21, 2003 8:58 pm

Hey gang...what it's like up on the mainland? We've got fierce wind blowing in from the east and thunder and lightning to the north. They just beeped in with a brief storm warning for Ticka's area during CSI. I wasn't online because I was busy cooking, but now I just logged in to check. Thought I'd check with the rest of you.

Take care and stay safe!

Got hit pretty hard last night up near Conroe. Nothing severe but what a lightning show and some good solid rain. I ended up getting an inch and a half in my rain guage. Lots of rain just off the coast down your way at the moment GalvestonDuck.

Thanks for the graphic, Johnny. It's certainly dark and cloudy looking southwest of the island. Beautiful to see from a distance though.
