I gotta wonder about Greenville, NC's temperature sensor ... recently last year or the year before they had snow at 50.

But this was several stations ... temperatures in the upper 40's with sleet and snow mixed ...

i guess you were right about the deeper than expected cold air layer? I don't know which is better one snow at 20"like that one year or a year with 4-5 different smaller event? I know they say quality is better than quantity, but this winter we have had only small systems and i think its been just as fun. 99-00 we had 20" btw for those that don't know?!/

I've really gotten into only one event and two 5 minute sleet pellets that it ... 0.5" of snow ... I'm disappointed from my aspect ...

Notice the mixed line now into Columbia, and Florence SC
